Chrissi Island is located about 15 kilometers (9 miles) south of Ierapetra, in the Libyan Sea. It’s accessible only by boat and is one of the southernmost natural points in Europe.
The “golden” island is protected as an “area of intense natural beauty”and famous for its golden beaches full of shells and clear water shimmering in myriad shades of blue. Swim in the shallow waters and get the most of your day in this unique destination.

All on Board. Chrissi island is situated approximately 9 nautical miles south of Ierapetra and is a Wildlife Refuge. The island is a habitat of stunning natural beauty, included in the European initiative Natura 2000. Enjoy a relaxing semi-private boat ride on a luxury yacht along the coast of Crete till arrival.
After a half hour boat trip arrive at Chrissi Island, known for its pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters. Head to Golden Beach, one of the island's most famous beaches, known for its golden sand and turquoise waters. After swimming the boat’s crew will prepare a delicious BBQ lunch onboard. Enjoy traditional Greek BBQ dishes, such as grilled meat, fresh vegetables, local salads, and bread. Complimentary drinks (water, soft drinks, and a glass of wine or local raki). After lunch, enjoy some time to relax, take photos, or stroll around the island. We can arrange also vegetarian or vegan meals upon request.
